Debt counseling is a pre-requisite for filing bankruptcy. To start your debt counseling, visit the Hummingbird Credit Counseling and Debt Solutions web site by clicking here, and you will be taken to their "BANKRUPTCY CERTIFICATIONS" page.

You will start you debt counseling on their web site and finish it by calling their toll-free number 1 (800) 645-4959, and speaking with a counselor to get your certification. At that time, they will give you an I.D. number and a control number. You must call my office with these numbers immediately so we can access your certificate. Credit Counseling must be completed before your case can be filed. The financial management course will take place on the internet.
